Authentically Auburn

From County Fairs to Harvest Celebrations, Auburn’s local life comes alive through legendary festivals throughout the year and everyone’s invited. In a world where experiences can be transplanted from one destination to another, Auburn has held on to its sense of place and, more importantly, its sense of identity. Twice a month Auburn hosts a classic cruise nite and the streets rumble with old school cars. You’ll discover everything from the thrills of a demolition derby to the exceptional musicians of Placer County’s renowned symphony.

“The greatness of a culture can be found in its festivals.” — Siddharth Katragadda

Our list of events gets updated throughout the year. Check it frequently. Our most notable events are a great way to enjoy our local life. And twice a year we host two renowned endurance events, the Western States 100-mile trail run and the unique Tevis Cup, a world-famous equestrian endurance event, both of which conclude in Auburn.
