The Light that Inspires

Artists are drawn to light. Those of us that don’t see the world through the lens of camera or through the strokes of a paintbrush may not notice. Artists do. Photographers wrangle light to tell stories and artists feel the inspiration of the quality of light to define feelings and experience. Sit by our pool or firepit one evening and watch as the sun fades over the horizon. Watch the golden light caress the hills, trees, mountains and meadows. See the landscape change and evolve and erupt from the light and shadows. For the artist, this ignites the imagination. The light in our Gold Country exists nowhere else on the planet. This is why the artists are here.
